ROLLING STONES: One Step Closer to a Tour?
Ronnie Wood says The Rolling Stones are talking about a possible 50th anniversary tour. He says, "They're still in the talking mode and I don't know. Each week brings a new development." He adds that it comes down to making sure everyone is "feeling comfortable with each other, 'cause we're all ready to go [on tour] individually." The Stones' last tour was A Bigger Bang in 2007.
Part of the celebration for Ronnie will be sobriety. "It wasn't working anymore. The drink wasn't working, the dope wasn't working. I wasn't getting high... My own kids were like, 'We can't ask Dad -- he's too out of it'... I became a little bit ashamed of myself... [But] I have no regrets. I'm really enjoying the new aspect on life that I have, the new focus. Everyone understands -- my ex-wife does, the kids, they've come back around. It's lovely."
Mick Jagger performed last night at the White House as part of a celebration of the blues. It will air on PBS starting February 27th. And Keith Richards will join Eric Clapton and others at New York's Apollo Theatre on Friday at a celebration for late blues guitarist Hubert Sumlin, who died in December. Richards and Jagger paid for his funeral.

Daltrey says, "Every year, my team and I work really hard to make these concerts for Teenage Cancer Trust something special.
